Historically, Hollywood has reduced minority representation to antiquated archetypes, framing them within a western context. FlipNarrative is here to change that. Co-founded by actor/producer Waleed Zuaiter, our mission is to amplify underrepresented and historically misrepresented voices for world audiences with quality and authenticity; and to undo the fiction that has informed how popular culture regards the voiceless. Leveraging our deep international network in the TV and Film industry, we serve as a bridge for voices yearning to be heard with the opportunities they so richly deserve.
We are “insider-outsiders”; straddling the line between two worlds - the one of our heritage and the one we call home. Understanding the privilege that this lens affords us, FlipNarrative is uniquely positioned in the nexus between Hollywood and MENASA (the Middle East, North African and South Asian region). FlipNarrative offers a unique opportunity for authentic stories from the region to be realized with iconic Hollywood standards and delivered to global audiences.
